OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2014. The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) launched the Announcement on Approval of the 4th Batch of Qualification List of Engineering Construction Enterprises of 2014.

According to this decree, five subsidiaries of MCC Group are granted with the Premium EPC Qualification for Housing/Building Construction, namely, the 17th China Metallurgical Construction Group (17MCC Group), China Metallurgical Construction Group (CMCCLTD Group), the 19th China Metallurgical Construction Group (19MCC Group), China 20MCC Construction Group (20MCC Group) and the 22nd China Metallurgical Construction Group (22MCC Group). In addition, 19MCC Group and 22MCC Group are also awarded with the Premium EPC Qualification for Smelting Works.

Up to now, nine subsidiaries of MCC Group have won Premium EPC Qualification for 14 items of construction works, including 7 ones for smelting works and 7 ones for housing/building construction works. Among these subsidiaries, the 5th China Metallurgical Construction Group (5MCC Group), 19MCC Group, 20MCC Group, 22MCC Group and Shanghai Baoye Construction Group (SBC-MCC Group) have been granted with both qualifications.

The winning of these Premium EPC Qualifications by the subsidiaries of MCC Group will offer a firm support for consolidation of the traditional metallurgical market and active exploration of the non-metallurgical engineering market.
