PTT Assured of Enough Energy Supply for All
OREANDA-NEWS. Mr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, PTT Plc President & CEO, said that during the curfew imposed by the National Peace and Order Maintaining Council (NPOMC) nightly from 10 pm to 5 am, PTT Group finds it necessary to close down all its service stations for fuels, NGV, and LPG across the country and to refrain from transporting petroleum and petrochemical products during such hours.
Fully recognizing potential impacts on motorists, PTT has instructed all its NGV and LPG service stations to get their services fully ready during operating hours. It has also filed for exemption from NPOMC for truck transport during curfew hours to ease impacts on all motorists and be ready to serve the energy needs of all sectors, particularly key agencies like hospitals, airports, and all fuel and LPG users in the transport and household sectors.
In addition, PTT has rescheduled its NGV transport trips from master (mother) stations to 7 pm to allow employees to get home by 10 pm, which may cause impacts on service users at some daughter stations in the morning hours due to the limited volumes of NGV ready for sale. In other words, some customers of such daughter NGV stations may face a long queue, for which PTT apologizes during this abnormal period. For more information, please call PTT Contact Center (1365).
As the national energy company, PTT assures the public of its diligent sourcing of supply and transport of all fuels regardless of the situation. The company does it best to manage the procurement, reserves, and transport of petroleum and petrochemical products to drive the national economy, while ensuring smooth day-to-day lives of all members of the public.
