OREANDA-NEWS. May 26, 2014. Professions of technical direction will be the scarcest ones in Kazakhstan by 2018, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Tamara Duissenova said at the plenary session of the AEF.

According to her, it is planned to develop a new classifier of training given the current state of the labour market to meet the needs of a developing economy in the labour force of a new generation and to establish a direct link between production and training before the end of this year.

In addition, she noted that about 147 professional standards will be developed this year.

"Last year, 257 professional standards were developed. In general, about 900 professional standards relating to all sectors of the economy are planned to be developed until 2020," she said.
