OREANDA-NEWS. Russia's largest international rating agency, Expert RA included MAYKOR in the list of Top 10 IT service providers. The rating is assigned on the basis of revenue data for the leading companies in Russia's IT market for the 2013 financial year.

MAYKOR's revenue from implementing IT services under outsourcing contracts grew by 15.7% last year, which is almost double the rate of growth of the IT services sector in general. This has earned the company a spot among the ten leaders of this market segment. Furthermore, MAYKOR improved its position in the general rating of ICT market players by moving up on spot compared with its position in 2012. As noted in the commentary on the rating, the growth of the IT services segment is due to the fact that today's customers are focusing on increasing the efficiency of their business. One of the ways to achieve this goal is to outsource IT support, which is often cheaper for customers than maintaining their own support service.

"Cutting 'heavy' parts of the budget, which include the purchasing of equipment, also entails a rise in demand for support of existing IT infrastructure: automated work stations and telephony, office and server equipment. Support for opening offices, stores, bank branches, and gas stations is popular among clients from rapidly growing companies with broad geographic distributions", commented Sergey Sulgin, President of MAYKOR.
