OREANDA-NEWS. Galina Chizhova, Mayor of Novotroitsk, met with architects from the Novaya Zemlya agency, who specialise in the development of parks and urban spaces. Metalloinvest engaged experts to work on the Novotroitsk park development project and will cover costs related to developing the design concept.

Professional architects will develop functional zoning for the park (zones for outdoor activities, creative activities, etc.), basic facilities, and pedestrian and bicycle routes. In addition, proposals for each stage of the reconstruction and for creating park management systems will be prepared.

Novotroitsk town residents will play a large role in preparing and approving the park's design concept. Town administration representatives decided to launch an information campaign and organise meetings with young people, entrepreneurs, interested residents and officials. The town's residents will be able to voice their opinion through information portals and during live TV debates. The architects will take the residents' suggestions into account and on 27 June, during the Town Day celebration, they will present different options for the project for the residents to vote on.
