OREANDA-NEWS. In May 2014 JSC "Lengazspetsstroy", being the part of SGM Group, once again demonstrated the compliance of its Environmental Management System, as applicable to performance of General Contractor obligations, construction works, buildings and facilities overhaul, including within oil and gas industry as well, to the statements of ISO 14001-2007 Environmental Management System - Requirements with guidance for use.

Supervisory audit has been conducted by Gazstroysertifikatsiya LLC, being certified within GAZPROMSERT Voluntary Certification System, established by Gazprom in 1999.

In the course of the audit no findings were reported. The Environmental Management System applied in JSC "Lengazspetsstroy" is effectively used and subjected to continuous updates. JSC "Lengazspetsstroy" fulfills its obligations and follows specified environmental requirements. It performs a set of activities, including up-to-date welding methods and technologies implementation, as well as procures new kinds of machines and equipment, which allows to reduce significantly a negative impact on the atmosphere, soil and to facilitate the reduction of waste generated as a result of construction.
