OREANDA-NEWS. The administration of Ukrtelecom JSC made a decision at the end of April 2014 to continue the process of structural changes in the Company without optimizing staffing levels. Top management of the Company announced this at the meeting with representatives of the Joint Trade Union of Ukrtelecom JSC.

Ukrtelecom JSC continues to operate steadily throughout the country, providing its customers with quality services and its employees with stable salaries. To improve the efficiency and quality of customer service Ukrtelecombegan at the end of last year a process of internal and complex structural transformations of the Company.

As the Company reported earlier, according to the current legislation, the administration of Ukrtelecom informed trade unions about possible changes and expressed its readiness to hold comprehensive consultations to analyze the situation and develop joint solutions. On the results of the consultations with the Joint Trade Union, the administration of Ukrtelecom JSC made a decision to continue changes in the Company without optimizing staffing levels.

“In terms of the overall situation that has developed in the country, top management of Ukrtelecom will not allow any actions which might carry a threat of destabilization of the situation. We are well aware of the current state of people and will fully consider the interests of the staff of the Company in the process of transformation,” commented Alexander Barinov, the Chairman of Ukrtelecom JSC.

“On behalf of the trade union, I declare that we are in a constructive dialogue with the administration, and we fully support the desire of the Company top management to protect the staff, especially in these difficult times,” said Liudmyla Topiekhina, the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Joint Trade Union of Ukrtelecom JSC .
