OREANDA-NEWS. St. Petersburg Tractor Plant (a subsidiary of the Kirov Group) has shipped a consignment of Kirovets K-744Р tractors to one of the largest Russian agricultural holdings, Ravis-Sosnovskaya Poultry Farm PJSC.

The scope of the contract with the Chelyabinsk poultry farm includes Kirovets K-744Р3 Premium and K-744Р4 Premium high-powered tractors.

The contract is peculiar in that until now the largest Russian agricultural holdings primarily bought expensive imported equipment. But now - as a result of evaluation of cost component of the imported equipment operation - the companies for the first time in a long time are turning to the leading Russian producers of agricultural equipment. Alongside the contract with Ravis-Sosnovskaya Poultry Farm PJSC, St. Petersburg Tractor Plant is conducting negotiations with representatives from another Russian agricultural holding that is interested in purchasing a consignment of Kirovets high-powered tractors.
