Cement Output at Zhigulyovsk Building Materials Increases 10%
OREANDA-NEWS. In March 2014 Zhigulyovsk Building Materials demonstrated steady growth in the amount of cement manufactured and delivered by comparison with last year's figures. The company manufactured 43,500 tons of clinker (a semi-finished product used in cement manufacturing) and produced 50,900 tons of cement - increases of 7% and 10%, respectively, on the figures for March 2013.
In March 2014, Zhigulyovsk Building Materials delivered 48,900 tons of cement to its customers - 7% more than in the same period last year.
The cement CEM I 42.5 N is proving to be as popular as ever among consumers. In March 2014 the company manufactured 24,100 tons of this type of cement - 41.1% more than in March 2013. This type of cement is delivered in bulk and in bagged form, in soft 1,000 kg 'big-bags'. This particular form of packaging is noted for being extremely strong and resistant to moisture.
The Portland cement CEM I 42.5 N manufactured by Zhigulyovsk Building Materials can withstand extremely low temperature and is 20% stronger than the GOST requirements. It is ideally suited for the construction of all types of concrete and reinforced concrete structures, solid concretes featuring early stripping of forms, surface works and thin-walled monolithic constructions.
Zhigulyovsk Building Materials is also continuing to show steady growth in the manufacturing of construction gravel and carbonate rocks for use in the production of bituminous concrete. This March, the company manufactured 50,200 tons of gravel and 19,900 tons of carbonate rocks. These figures are 9.3% and 29.2% higher, respectively, than the results achieved in March 2013.
