OREANDA-NEWS. May 19, 2014. According to the published balance sheet of the National Bank , NBM balance sheet as of 31 December 2013 amounted to 41 billion 740.04 million lei, exceeding the previous year by 19.1 %.

The liabilities of the National Bank in the amount of cash in circulation increased by 30.8 % - up to 19 billion 040.7 million lei. The government funds (cash available) as at of 31 December 2013 amounted to 1 billion 641.5 million lei, decreasing as compared to the previous year by 13.4 %. During the same period the funds of banking institutions increased by 17.6 % - up to 7 billion 029.5 million lei.

Fixed capital of NBM remained unchanged - 330.02 million lei. According to the balance sheet of NBM the bank assets in 2013 in comparison with 2012 in the volume of cash and short-term placements with banks decreased by 2% - up to 12 billion 559.1 million lei. Monetary gold amounted to 37.39 million lei vs. 47.59 million lei a year before.

The volume of investment in securities increased by 38.5% - up to 24 billion 167.8 million lei. The debt obligations of international financial institutions increased by 11.3% - up to 2 billion 563.1 million lei.

Tangible assets of the National Bank increased by 13 % - up to 24 million 818 thousand lei , intangible assets increased by 69 % - up to 23 million 258 thousand lei, and other assets decreased by 17.1% - up to 3 million 834 thousand . lei.
