OREANDA-NEWS. Ural Airlines fleet now has as many as nineteen mid-range Airbus 320s - the latest aircraft arrived in Ekaterinburg from the Philippines today. Thus, the total number of aircraft in Ural Airlines fleet has reached 33 airliners (19 A320s, 10 A321s, and 4 A319s). The total capacity of the aircraft is 156 seats, out of which 156 are Economy Class and 12 Business Class. The new airplane is expected to be operated on international as well as domestic flights. The airline is planning to purchase 3 more Airbus A320-type aircraft in 2014.

Ural Airlines started its fleet upgrading program in 2006, and has been purchasing new airplanes every year. European Airbus aircraft have proven to be highly efficient and convenient for mid-range flights. Airbus A320/321 family is the most spacious among narrow-bodied aircraft; besides, they are considered to be among the best ones in terms of cabin noise insulation and lighting.
