OREANDA-NEWS. May 16, 2014. Uzbek-Malaysian "round table" was held in Tashkent

In the frame of visit of Malaysian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education Mukhiddin Yassin, Uzbek-Malaysian "round table" was take place in metropolitan hotel "International Hotel Tashkent". 25 representatives from Malaysian companies and organizations of various fields took part in this event.

During the meeting, members of Malaysian delegations demonstrated brief presentations about their companies and organizations, by introducing perspective projects to establish bilateral cooperation and other interested questions.

Further in the frame of "round table", representatives from state companies of the Republic of Uzbekistan demonstrated brief presentations about perspective investment proposals in the fields of: oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical and electrical industries, as well as, tourism and education. Malaysian side was provided detailed information for all interested questions, concerning on establishing of bilateral cooperation.

In the second part of the day, there was held business matchmaking with participation of Malaysian business delegation, in which business representatives of the both sides discussed the ways how to establish and stimulate bilateral cooperation.
