Mondelez Rus Migrates Network Monitoring to CROC's Cloud
OREANDA-NEWS. Mondelez Rus has optimized its network infrastructure management costs and minimized the time required to pinpoint network failures and errors. A high-performance monitoring and support system was designed by CROC and deployed within the system integrator's cloud. The project, including migration to a new system, started in late 2012 and was completed in October 2013.
“Our network covers dozens of cities and, until recently, was supported by the Mondelez International foreign offices and its global partners. It often took hours to detect and fix a problem despite the fact that quick network recovery is crucial for any business. As a result, long communication channel downtime between the head office, factories and warehouses led to disruptions in product shipments which resulted in financial losses for the company.
In 2012, as part of a regional network infrastructure transformation project, we gained the opportunity to independently decide on our technical solutions, processes and the corporate data network monitoring and management service partner. We organized a tender and CROC-one of the leaders in the systems integration market-deservedly won it. Thanks to a jointly implemented monitoring and support system, as well as the professionalism of shift employees, typical network problem diagnosis now takes just 10-15 minutes and management costs have been reduced by 60%, with business losses from communication channel downtime decreasing as well,” says Boris Bosak, Manager, IT Infrastructure Support Group, Mondelez Rus.
“CROC's involvement in the project of increasing the efficiency and speed of network failure diagnosis and recovery time has improved the coordination of the customers' and telecom operator's support services. Higher service quality was noticed not only by our IT professionals but also by people from key business functions who are not familiar with network technology details and ITIL processes. Perhaps this is the best appreciation of the work we've done jointly with CROC,” says Alexander Kornyukhov, Head of Information Systems Department, Mondelez Rus.
“The system collects network infrastructure performance data which is then used to optimize network resources. In addition, maintenance, technical support, and scalability management tasks are now performed 24/7 without the need for customer participation. Mondelez Rus representatives receive regular reports, including a list of detected and fixed incidents,” says Svetlana Vrublevskaya, Deputy Director of Telecommunications Department for Services, CROC.
