OREANDA-NEWS. Among a host of public as well as private sector companies, Maharatna company Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has won the 'National Intellectual Property (IP) Award 2014' for being the 'Top Indian Public Limited Company in Patents'. The award was received by Sh. B. Prasada Rao, CMD, BHEL from Sh. Amitabh Kant, Secretary, DIPP, Govt. of India.

Significantly, BHEL was also awarded the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) Award for Innovative Enterprises.
