OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2014. We would like to inform you that the transaction of selling Bank's shares was completed, whereby minority shareholders of AS "SMP Bank" purchased part of shares of "Северный морской путь" bank that is registered in the Russian Federation.

As a result of the transaction the majority share holding of AS "SMP Bank" no longer belongs to Russian "Северный морской путь" bank since 51% of shares have passed into ownership of the minority shareholders who are residents of the Republic of Latvia and representatives of the Bank's management.
 
Due to recent changes in the shareholder structure the Bank Board and Management structure also was changed. It was also decided to change the Bank's name to AS "Meridian Trade Bank".
 
The Bank and Customer Service Centers work as usual, providing payment transactions, payments through the Internet bank and payment cards, as well as other banking financial services. The Bank is ready to fulfill its obligations to customers to the full extent and in time.
