AUTOBACS SEVEN Announces Formulation of 2014 Medium-Term Business Plan
OREANDA-NEWS. AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. announces that its Board of Directors resolved on May 8, 2014 to adopt a new medium-term business plan named “2014 Medium-Term Business Plan” ("the 2014 Plan") as follows.
1. Basic Concept of the 2014 Plan:
The Company has launched a new 2014 medium-term business plan towards the realization of the vision: “Anything about cars, you find at AUTOBACS.” Through the implementation of the 2014 Plan, the Company will focus on the profit improvement of domestic AUTOBACS business as well as the development and expansion of new businesses opportunities.
Concerning business strategy, the Company places the highest priority on the reinforcement of its existing AUTOBACS business to make it able to flexibly adapt to the changing business environment. The company intends to enhance value for customers from the viewpoint of convenience and security, and establish competitive advantage over its rivals.
In the long term, the Company aims to further improve its corporate value by establishing three pillars for profitable growth; domestic AUTOBACS business, new business and overseas business.
2. Management targets set in the 2014 Plan:
Consolidated Operating Income: 18 Billion Yen
Consolidated ROE: 8.0%
Consolidated DOE: maintain over 3.0%
3. Basic Policy of the 2014 Plan:
1) Domestic AUTOBACS Business
Creating higher value for customers and establishing competitive advantage
2) New Business
Developing new business focusing on fields related to automobile
3) Overseas Business
Developing business mainly in the growing ASEAN region
4) Financial Strategies
Increasing operating cash flow through active business investment and maintaining the DOE ratio to 3%
