Crude Oil Production

The amount of 2,152,179 tons of crude oil or 100.4 percent versus April 2013 was produced at JSC TATNEFT, while the four months production amounted to 8,604,860 tons which was 36,722 tons more than in 2013 (100.4%).

The amount of 8,478,505 tons of oil was delivered since the beginning of the year with the above-the-plan delivery amounting to 40,235 tons.

New Drilling

The new drilling penetration for 4 months of 2014 amounted to 142.7 thousand meters (182  thousand meters in 2013) with the drilling performed for JSC TATNEFT in the amount of 118.2 thousand meters (140.1 thousand meters in 2013), including production drilling accounting for 112.6 thousand meters and exploratory drilling accounting for 5.6 thousand meters. 1.4 thousand meters (15.4 thousand meters in 2013) were penetrated for “Tatneft-Samara”, including production drilling in the amount of 1.0 thousand meters and exploratory drilling amounting to 0.4 thousand meters.

92 wells (112 wells in 2013) were constructed and delivered to customers with 71 wells delivered to JSC TATNEFT (79 wells in 2013), including 68 wells of production drilling and 3 wells of exploratory drilling. 1 production well was constructed and delivered to “Tatneft-Samara” (13 wells in 2013).

Active Well Stock Drilling

The penetration of sidetracking and horizontal wellbores for JSC TATNEFT amounted to 17.6 thousand meters (16.4 thousand meters in 2013) during four months of 2014, including 6.5 thousand meters (8.1 thousand meters in 2013) for JSC TATNEFT.

32 wells were delivered to customers (30 wells in 2013) with 23 wells (20 wells in 2013) delivered to JSC TATNEFT.

The average number of drilling crews performing conventional well drilling operations since the beginning of 2014 amounted to 34, while 13 drilling crews were engaged in drilling lateral and lateral horizontal wellbores. One drilling crew performed drilling to the bituminous deposits of Ashalchinskoye oil field for NGDU “Nurlatneft”.

The penetration per crew engaged in new drilling amounted to 4,025 meters during four months of 2014. 19.7 thousand meters were penetrated outside the Republic of Tatarstan, including 11.1 thousand meters for penetration of sidetracks and horizontal holes.  

Repair of Wells

During four months of 2014 the crews of remedial servicing, workover and oil recovery enhancement performed remedial servicing of 2,561 wells (654 wells in April) and workover in 719 wells (189 wells in April), including production string sealing performed in 83 wells, shutting-off individual layers and recompletion in other intervals in 37 wells, transfer of wells into different categories and wells completion for injection in 61 wells, liquidation of downhole complications and cleaning of production casing and bottomhole in 46 wells and installation of isolating packers and dual completion systems in 31 wells.

40 wells were repaired outside the Republic of Tatarstan with 37 wells for “Tatneft-Samara” and 3 wells for “Tatneft-Severny”.

Formation hydrofracking operations were performed in 198 wells (51 wells in April).

Two small diameter horizontal wells were drilled and completed for NGDU Almetyevneft. Drilling of two other similar wells is underway at the same NGDU at present.
Works on oil recovery enhancement were performed in 785 wells (162 wells in April), including chemical methods applied in 385 wells (68 wells in April).

Bottomhole area treatment operations with application of JSC TATNEFT’s technologies were performed in 1,004 wells.

Production Performance of the JSC TANECO

The TANECO Complex of Refining and Petrochemical Plants processed 686.2 thousand tons of crude oil and yielded 681.2 thousand tons of oil products in April 2014.
