OREANDA-NEWS. In order to co-finance the formation of pension savings of insured persons who paid additional insurance premiums on a funded portion of their labor pension in 2013, a part of the National Wealth Fund's financial resources in the foreign currencies in the Bank of Russia's accounts, namely, 0.12 billion US dollars, 0.09 billion euros and 0.02 poundssterlings was sold for 9.37 billion rubles and the funds received were placed into the account to record funds of the federal budget.

As of May 1, 2014, the aggregate amount of the National Wealth Fund was 3 127.94 billion rubles which is equivalent to 87.62 billion US dollars including:
1) In separate accounts to record funds of the National Wealth Fund with the Bank of Russia:
* 24.46 billion US dollars;
* 24.09 billion euros;
* 4.38 billion pounds sterlings;
2) 474.02 billion rubles and 6.25 billion US dollars were deposited with Vnesheconombank.
3) under an individual decision by the Russian Government 3.00 billion US dollars were placed in debt instruments of foreign states without placing demands on long-term credit ratings.

The aggregate calculated income from placing funds of the National Wealth Fund in foreign currency accounts of the Bank of Russia recalculated in dollars for a period from January 15 to April 30, 2014, was 0.12 billion US dollars, which is equivalent to 4.46 billion rubles. The exchange rate difference from recalculating monetary resources of the Fund from January 1 to April 30, 2014 was 236.66 billion rubles including:
* balances in foreign exchange accounts with the Bank of Russia - 209.18 billion rubles;
* funds deposited with Vnesheconombank in US dollars - 18.57 billion rubles;
* funds placed in debt instruments of foreign states without placing demands on long-term credit ratings - 8.91 billion rubles.

In April of 2014, incomes from placing financial resources of the National Wealth Fund on Vnesheconombank's deposits were transferred in the federal budget in the amount of6.74 billion rubles which is equivalent to 0.19 billion US dollars. The aggregate income from placing financial resources of the Fund on Vnesheconombank's deposits from January to April of 2014 was 13.63 billion rubles which is equivalent to 0.40 billion US dollars.
