OREANDA-NEWS. May 07, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, compared to the same period of the last year, in January-March 2014 the average sales price of crop production decreased by 25,2%, livestock products - increased by 13.2 %.

The most significant reduction in the producer prices for cereals and legumes made 32.5 %. In particular, the prices of maize have declined by 40.2 %, wheat - 20.3%. Sunflower prices decreased by 26%. At the same time, the average price of potatoes grew by 68.4%, vegetables - by 52.3%, vegetables - by 36.5%. Prices for livestock and poultry increased by 10.5%.

Thus the cost of meat of sheep and goats increased by 37.7%, poultry - by 22.4%, pork - by 11.8 %. Eggs prices increased by 37.3%, milk - by 3.4%. Insignificant decrease in prices for cattle by 0.6% was registered as well.
