National Rating Agency Raises Vneshprombank Credit Rating
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 29, the National Rating Agency published a press release, which informed on its intention to raise the Vneshprombank's credit rating. It should be mentioned that previously its national rating was АА-.
Among the factors, which stipulated the rating assessment increase, are:
Market share growth,
Regional coverage growth,
Attraction of new customers,
Credit activities growth,
Extension of the bank's credit opportunities due to increased capitalization with simultaneous maintenance of indexes and coefficients describing the bank's liquidity at the high level.
The agency noted the interest of the owners in further bank development, wide range of license competences, public availability of the credit history and ability of Vneshprombank to maintain the capital adequacy indexes at the sufficient level in conditions of the business volumes growth.
Vneshprombank started its activity in July 1995. According to Interfax EAC, at the end of the first quarter of 2014 the bank occupied the 39th position as to the amount of net assets, which was equal to 172,793,328 thousand rubles. As to the amount of the shareholders' equity, which is 13,510,179 thousand rubles according to the Agency, the Bank occupies the 50th position.
