OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2014. Mr. Xu Siwei, Party Secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, met with visiting Mr. Wei Wei, director of enterprise bureau of China Development Bank and his entourage at head office of Sinosteel Corporation and both parties conducted in-depth communication with regards to deepening bank-enterprise cooperation. Mr. Liu Andong, member Party Committee of Sinosteel  Corporation, Deputy General Manager and Chief Accountant of Sinosteel Corporation Limited and Mr. Zhang Zhiheng, assistant general manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited accompanied the meeting. 

Firstly, general manager Xu Siwei expressed welcome for visiting of Mr. Wei and his delegation, and also expressed thanks for tremendous supports of China Development Bank to Sinosteel. Mr. Xu pointed out that, Sinosteel achieved apparent results in reform last year and realized the operating objective of making a profit instead of suffering a loss, and firmly stepped the first step of “Three steps for three years”. This year is the linking and key year for reform and development, and Sinosteel will take “adjust industrial structure and strengthen capital guarantee” as two key tasks of the year, and wishes to continue to have supports and helps from China Development Bank.

Director Wei Wei pointed out that, China Development Bank and Sinosteel Corporation are cooperative partners for many years, and the news of Sinosteel’s making profit instead of suffering a loss in last year is pleasant and exciting, and China Development Bank is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation and communication with Sinosteel, and strengthen supports to Sinosteel with regards to industrial structure adjustment to assist reform and development of Sinosteel and realize win-win results.
