OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2014. The finals of 2014 BSUIR Open, the Open Championship in Collegiate Programming of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) took place in Minsk, Belarus. IBA Group participated in the event as its general partner.

The competition was held in compliance with the rules of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM ICPC). In the finals, the participants were offered to solve eleven tasks in English within five hours.

Last year, more than 150 teams from Belarus participated in the contest. In 2014, the championship gathered 229 student and school teams from Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, and Ukraine.

The winners of the 4th BSUIR Open Championship in Collegiate Programming are:
The 1st place: Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT)
The 2nd place: Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT)
The 3rd place: Belarusian State University (BSU).
The team BSUIR_Power received a special prize, the BSUIR Champion medal.

IBA has sponsored this championship since 2010. Winners and participants of 2014 BSUIR Open received prizes from IBA Group and other partners of the event.
