OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC KAMAZ is participating in the 7th International Auto Festival World of Buses being held in Kolomna near Moscow on these days.
The participants of the exhibition are discussing up-to-date technologies of passenger transportation, public regulation of bus transportation, technologies of customer-oriented service development, maintenance of vehicles, presentation of new models. KAMAZ is a regular participant of the show which pleasantly surprises guests with new models demonstrating a rich assortment of powerful vehicles.
The leader of the truck industry presented a 100% low-floor NEFAZ-52994-40-51 equipped with a Mercedes-Benz Euro-5 260-hp engine at the exhibition. The bus has 25 (+1) seats to accommodate 105 (116) passengers. With a gross weight of 18.8 t, the bus can pick up speed up to 70 km/h, and its curb weight is 10,860 kg.
OJSC KAMAZ is the only distributor of NEFAZ buses. JSC Neftekamsk Automobile Plant, a member of KAMAZ Group, has been developing and producing various passenger buses up to international standards for a long time. Its annual capacity is almost 1,500 buses.
