OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2014. The Petrozavodsk branch of Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) has been named winner of a public auction put on by the Onega Network Company, OJSC, for a contract to provide financial services to the company.

The branch opened a nonrevolving credit line of 88.6 million rubles for a drawdown period of 36 months to the company to cover the costs of cut-rate equipment connections in 2014.

The Onega Network Company (ONC) and Sviaz-Bank entered into partnership in 2010. As of today, the company has received a total of approximately 1.4 billion rubles. Besides, the branch cooperates with the ONC in providing cash handling services.

The core activities of the Onega Network Company, OJSC, include electric power transmission, generation of electric power at diesel-fueled power plants, and connection of power users to the company’s power networks. The ONC has operations in 14 districts of Karelia.
