Kazakhstan to Receive Tranche from ADB of 22,5 bn Tenge for SME
OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2014. Kazakhstan will receive a tranche from the Asian Development Bank at the rate of 22.5 billion tenge, the Kazakhstan Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev informed during a briefing at the Central Communications Service.
"Today we have approved relevant approaches about the possibility of granting government guarantee under the second tranche for the development of small and medium-sized businesses at the rate of 22.5 billion tenge. These funds will be placed in tenge. Today we are going to conclude negotiations on possible bond placement or standard operating procedures with the National Bank of the country," Y.Dossayev said.
According to him, organization’s activity in Kazakhstan will increase in terms of investment and the implementation of various projects after the next ADB meeting held in Astana.
We would remind you that the 47th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank will be held from 2 to 5 May in Astana. It is expected that there will be more than three thousand delegates, representatives of international and domestic financial institutions and organizations.
