BWB Delivers Boom Towing Tugs to Russian Far East Oil Terminals
OREANDA-NEWS. Two 9,7 meter Boom Towing TUGs are delivered in cooperation with LAMOR (Finland) oil spill response company to Russian owner to be used in Russian Far East oil terminals.
This small all aluminium Tugboat is designed to tow and push a variety of marine equipment. Especially it is dedicated to handle oil booms. The vessel is designed to work in coastal areas and outside the seaports in connection to a mother ship. The towing boat is designed to operate in winds up to Beaufort force 6 (14m/s) and the associated wave heights (significant wave height up to 2m).
