Active money decreased from MDL 16 billion 715.9 million in February to MDL 16 billion 656.2 million in March. In the reporting period M2 increased MDL 48.4 million (0.1%) to MDL 44 billion 408.9 million. M3 decreased MDL 227.4 million (0.4%) to MDL 62 billion 328.48 million as of the end of March, 2014.

The decline in M3 was determined by the decrease in the total balance of deposits by MDL 167.7 million and the decrease in the balance of active money by MDL 59.7 million month-on-month.
