Moldova Increases Export of Crops and Foods by 84,9%

Following the drought of 2012, the grain crop was good in 2013. The harvest for crops and leguminous plants increased 2.2 times to 2 million 660 thousand tons, NBS said to Nonmarket. The bulk yield of wheat doubled to 1 million 007 thousand tons.
In 2013, the wheat yielding capacity increased 1.7 times as much. According to the Agriculture Minister, about 160,000 tons of wheat gathered in 2013 are meant for export.
