Belarus Government to Support Titan Projects
OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2014. Members of an official delegation from the Republic of Belarus headed by the Minister of Industry Dmitry Katerinych visited GC “Titan” enterprises.
The first object visited by the guests within the framework of the visit to GC “Titan” was Provender Mill “Pushkinsky”. Heads of the enterprise in conjunction with the Regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Vitaly Erlich presented to the guests from Belarus the “Biocomplex” project. Then the delegation went on an observational excursion through the petrochemical cluster’s enterprises – Omsk Polypropylene Plant and “Omsky Kauchuk” plant.
After results of the event a meeting was held with participation of heads of GC “Titan” enterprises and members of the official delegation from the Republic of Belarus, including top-manager from “Belneftekhim” concern Sergey Ostapets. Within the framework of the visit’s business part the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation.
“We have been working with Belarus enterprises for a long time. The volume of opposite supplies is increasing each year. During the two incomplete five-year periods the sum of our goods’ circulation approached ca. 400 m dollars. I think that Belarus will find our proposal on creation of logistics center and joint enterprises on polymers processing interesting. I am sure, that we will find points of mutual interest also within the framework of “Biocomplex” project, – said CJSC “GC “Titan” Director General Valery Boiko.
In turn, Dmitry Katerinych mentioned the fact, that the government of the Republic of Belarus is ready to render governmental support to GC “Titan” projects on the territory of the friendly state.
After the meeting GC “Titan” representatives and representatives of the Belarus party discussed in working order certain steps on strengthening of partnering relations.
