EBRD Plans to Invest in Ukrainian Projects around EUR1 bn Annually
OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2014. The Head of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects Serhii Yevtushenko and the EBRD Director for Ukraine Shevko Adzhuner have discussed the main directions of cooperation between the EBRD in Ukraine in 2014 and the strategy of further relations up to 2020.
"The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development plans to invest in Ukrainian projects about 1 billion euros annually; it is even more than we hoped for," S. Yevtushenko said.
"It is important that from now the EBRD is positively disposed besides the private sector to cooperate with government institutions in order to implement state projects," Head of the Agency said.
Shevko Adzhuner noted that a number of national projects meet the strategic goals of the Bank. These are projects from the spheres of energy efficiency, agriculture and infrastructure.
