Moldova Decreases Oil Product and Gas Export by 35,2%
OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2014. In particular, as compared with the same period of the past year, the oil product exports decreased 19.7% to USD1.8 million, the gas export falling 71.6% to USD 0.3 million, the National Bureau of Statistics reports.
The share of oil products and gas in the total volume of Moldova’s export shrank from 0.9% to 0.6%. The share of oil products decreased from 0.6% to 0.5%, the gas share declining from 0.3% to 0.1%.
It should be noted that Moldova is known as a net petroleum importer and, as experts think, when speaking about the oil product export, the matter rather concerns either re-export or supply of the crude oil produced by Valiexchimp in the southern regions of Moldova or, possibly, the export of diesel fuel processed from the cruel oil in Comrat. Valiexchimp is also performing gas engineering around the village of Victorovca.
