OREANDA-NEWS.  Plants and subdivisions of KAMAZ (a member of State Corporation Rostec) showed good results having executed the production plan of March and the first quarter of 2014.

The automobile plant, the last enterprise in the company’s production chain, made more than 3.85 thousand vehicle sets in March and 8.2 thousand units for the first three months of the year.

The engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA JV produced and delivered almost 3.8 thousand engines and power units in March and 8.6 thousand units for the whole quarter.
Dealers, service centers and corporate clients of the company received spare parts for KAMAZ vehicles for 500 million rubles in March and more than 1.3 billion rubles since the beginning of the year. KAMAZ’s factories and units supplied customers with diversification products for RUB 311 million in March and for RUB 586 million for three months of the year. It should be noted that the output of power units, spare parts and diversification products in March was higher than that specified in the company’s business plan.

Commenting on the results for March, Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, mentioned the successful work of the KAMAZ dealers, “Our dealer network coped with their task, and sellers managed to fulfil the business plan almost completely, much better than in January and February.” According to Mr. Kogogin, the sellers and dealers are obviously geared up to work constructively in the second quarter. “I think everybody will surely fulfill their obligations,” the head of the Kama automobile plant said. “We at KAMAZ are paying attention to the fact that the state must ensure fair competition as before, and we should prevent the import of unlicensed cars to Russia.”
