OREANDA-NEWS. Vale's CEO, Murilo Ferreira, took part in meeting with Board of Directors in New Caledonia.

At the beginning of this month, members of the Vale Board of Directors and its president, Dan Conrado, met in our company offices in Brisbane, Australia. Following the meeting, they went on to take a closer look at our coal operations in the country. The schedule included visits to the underground Carborough Downs mine as well as the open-pit

The group also visited New Caledonia, where they toured our nickel refining mine and plant. Vale's CEO, Murilo Ferreira, joined them on this visit. As well as visiting our operations in-country, the participants also took the opportunity to talk to local leaders and employees.
