OREANDA-NEWS.  April 17, 2014. This was said by Rosselkhoznadzor Director Sergey Dankvert to Director of the National Agency for Food Safety of Moldova Ion Sula and Agriculture Ministry Vasile Bumacov. At their meeting in Moscow, the officials were discussing bilateral veterinary, phyto-sanitary and food safety cooperation, giving consideration to the matter of exporting Moldovan meat products and increasing the volume of the raw meat export to Russia.

The Russian official said Russia is ready to import more meat from Moldova. The Moldovan officials invited Russian experts to visit Moldova to learn more about Moldovan meat exporters. Besides, they arranged for intensifying cooperation as for growing and exporting grape and fruit young trees. Moldovan and Russian experts will be given an opportunity to exchange with the experience as for research making, risks analyzing, etc.

 The participants of the meeting came to an agreement that Moldovan experts would be trained to create a domestic system to ensure safety of livestock and plant products.
