Kazakhstan Coordinates Creation of Silk Road Tourism Product
OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2014. The Kazakh delegation headed by Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of Kazakhstan MINT Marat Igaliyev participated in the second meeting of the working group of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking States in the field of tourism.
According to the results of the meeting, Kazakhstan was appointed coordinator of the program to create a single tourism product "Turkic Council": Modern Silk Road".
It is planned that joint tourist routes along the Silk Road oriented to develop ethno-cultural and ecological tourism will be approved.
The parties have agreed to involve national tourism associations of the Turkic Council to work on creation of a single tourism product.
The parties also agreed to publish the "Tourist Guide of Modern Silk Road of the Turkic Council", which will contain practical information about the companies organizing specialized tours and general information about the countries and their tourism opportunities.
As Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee Marat Igaliyev noted as a result of the meeting with the head of the Turkic Council Halil Ak?nc?, Kazakhstan and Turkey will carry out exchange programs and joint staff through regular seminars and professional trainings, exhibitions in the field of tourism. In particular, a training session for representatives of Kazakh hospitality industry will be held from May 27 to June 3, 2014 in Belek, Turkey.
At the same time, enlarged training involving Turkish experts on staff development of hotels will be held this summer in Kazakhstan.
