UniCredit Bank Suspends Operation in Crimea Republic
OREANDA-NEWS. From April 15, 2014 UniCredit Bank is forced to suspend operations and close all branches in the Crimea. The bank, which operates under the laws of Ukraine, has no longer a legal basis for the functioning and providing banking services in the region.
We stress that the closure of branches in the Crimea does not affect the bank's liabilities to customers. UniCredit Bank will continue to service current, card, deposit accounts and loans in its branches in other regions of Ukraine.
Crimean depositors can withdraw allocated funds by transferring them to the payment card or to allocate deposit for a new term. To do this it is necessary to address any branch of UniCredit Bank in other regions of Ukraine.
Please note that borrowers are not released from execution of their obligations to the bank under the terms of the concluded loan agreements. Customers can carry out repayment at any UniCredit Bank's branch in other regions of Ukraine.
All payment cards issued by UniCredit Bank, are valid until the end of their validity period. Re-issue of cards is carried out by reference to the Contact-center. Delivery of bank cards is possible to any bank branch in other regions.
