OREANDA-NEWS.  April 16, 2014. Uzbekistan Airways will operate the first flight Tashkent-Singapore on Boeing 767.

This year Uzbekistan and Singapore mark 17th anniversary of diplomatic relations. The official visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, to Singapore opened new perspectives of the development of cooperation programs between our countries.

The main interests of Singapore in Uzbekistan are the hydrocarbon extraction and processing, hotel business, tourism and textile industry. Concerning Uzbekistan, the country welcomes tourists from Singapore and the representatives of business sphere, investors and manufacturers open to mutual beneficial cooperation.
