OREANDA-NEWS.  Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak and United States Secretary of the Treasury Jacob Lew signed a Declaration of Intent. This document provides consultations on implementation of preconditions by Ukraine under the borrowings Safeguards Agreement, which is signed between Ukraine and USA on April 14 in Washington, DC. The agreement provides issuance of government debt bonds of Ukraine secured by the U.S. guarantees according to the Act on the support of sovereignty, integrity, democracy and economic stability in Ukraine.
