OREANDA-NEWS. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Uzbekistan with residence in Helsinki Niklas Lindqvist held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Jahon news agency reported.

After the meeting, he gave interview to the agency and said that two countries have good experience of cooperation in politics, economy and cultural-humanitarian spheres. He said two countries cooperate within international organizations and financial institutes.

It is worth to mention that Finland and Uzbekistan have great potential for further expanding bilateral trade-economic relations, including in implementation of mutual beneficial investment projects, he said.

Ambassador noted that the sides considered actual issues of bilateral cooperation and international issues. He said during visit to Tashkent, he is planning to hold meetings at the Ministry of Agriculture am Water Management, Ministry of Higher Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan.

He said that this is his visit to Uzbekistan as Ambassador and he is pleased to visit the country. He said that he hopes to visit Uzbekistan again and he will do his best to contribute to development of bilateral partnership relations between two nations.
