OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 598,6 million as of March 31, 2014 that is by USD 27,2million less than the index of February 28, 2014.

The international reserve, converted in foreign currency, totaled USD 2 376,0 million, including that floated as securities - USD 1 634,4 million, as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 741,6 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totaled USD 222,6 million, while reserve position with IMF totaled USD 15,5 thousand.

NBG international reserve has dropped by USD 224,8 million since the beginning of the year.
