Changes in Boundaries of Vostochny & Nakhodka Seaports Made
OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2014. By Government of Russia regulations No. 295-r and No. 296-r the boundaries of the Vostochny and Nakhodka seaports were changed.
The amendments of the territories are connected with inclusion of new land plots, designed for displacement of state supervision authorities of the Russian Federation state border checkpoints in those seaports.
The boundaries of the Vostochny and Nakhodka seaports’ water areas were amended due to optimization of their common borders. A part of the Nakhodka Seaport water area was included into the Vostochny Seaport water area, in order to be used for trade shipping of large tonnage vessels calling at Vostochny Seaport.

The Vostochny Branch uses on the basis of a leasing contract 29 land plots in the Vostochny and Nakhodka seaports, with the total area of more than 25.3 hectares, including:
- 22 land plots in the seaport of Vostochny with the total area of almost 15 hectares, which makes 3.8% of the total area of Vostochny Seaport;
- 7 land plots in the seaport of Nakhodka with the total area of almost 10.4 hectares, which makes 2.8% of total area of Nakhodka Seaport.
The branch also uses 6 water bodies located in the water areas of the seaports of Vostochny and Nakhodka, with the total area of more than 0.07 square km, of which:
- 4 water bodies with the total area size of 0.07 sq. km are used in Vostochny Seaport, which makes 0.1 % of the total seaport water area;
- 2 water bodies with the total area size of 0.002 sq. km in Nakhodka Seaport, which makes almost 0.002 % of the total seaport water area.
