OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2014. ThyssenKrupp MillServices & Systems GmbH has again expanded its range of services on the site of the Duisburg steel mill of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe.

These experts in steel mill-related services are taking over the entire operations of the Duisburg-based competitor Schaumann. This includes all the 44 employees working there.

"We are happy to have again extended our lineup of services and to take over the entire workforce," says Jorg Schurmann, Management Board Chairman of ThyssenKrupp MillServices & Systems. Besides the employees, ThyssenKrupp MilllServices & Systems is also acquiring the workshop and adjacent employee facilities plus the complete fleet for Schaumann's inplant logistics. The equipment includes wheel loaders, excavators, telescopic excavators and special metallurgical equipment.
