OREANDA-NEWS. In branch of JSC "MOESK" - Moscow Cable Grids they started implementing the main arrangements of the repair program of 2014. The scope of financing will amount to about RUR 1.78 bln.

Formed production program is based on multi-year plans-schedules, takes into account the instructions of supervisory bodies and technical state of the grids.

In the course of the repair campaign the following objects will be repaired: 1140 transformers and distribution substations and 168 transformers of different capacity, a complex repair of over 20 km of the overhead power transmission lines, with substitution of branch lines, poles and a bare conductor by SSIC (self-supporting insulated conductor) in the responsibility area of the capital city's branch. They plan to repair 9690 cable lines sections with the total length of over 90 km, and also over 3000 roof coatings and facades of the regional and transformer substations.

The main part of the repair works of the primary equipment, cable and overhead lines is made by the efforts of the personnel of Moscow Cable Grids. Separate types of the works, for example, improvement of territories after emergent repairs of the cable grids, pipes laying by the method of horizontal slant drilling etc., are carried out under a contract. Besides that, sophisticated repairs of transformers, administrative buildings and engineering facilities in them, as well as those of the facades of the substations, are being carried out.

Repair program of MOESK in the 1st quarter of the current year is performed according to the schedule of the works, without lags of the approved plans.

All the arrangements are aimed at increasing of quality and reliability of the power supply of the population, socially significant and industrial facilities of Moscow.
