OREANDA-NEWS. TNT Express and Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board, Bernard Bot, today announced that he will not seek re-appointment as member of the Executive Board.

Antony Burgmans, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: "Bernard played an important role in the development of TNT Express. He built a strong global finance organisation and initiated the turnaround of the company through the Deliver! programme. For this, he deserves our gratitude and we wish Bernard all the best for the future."

The company has started a search for a successor. The effective date of Mr Bot's departure will be announced in due course.
