OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2014. As part of the Public Relations Awards 2013 competition last week, the best public relations projects were identified in the public and private sectors, internal communication and place marketing. Special prizes were awarded to acknowledge outstanding projects in culture, education and research communications.

In the internal communication category, the internal project by SEB Pank staff – “Sinu panus tulevikku!” (“Your contribution to the future!”), a campaign about responsible entrepreneurship that targeted the staff – was rated as the best. It was a good example of excellent internal communication, where the campaign was preceded by engaging communication via managers, training events and the intranet. The campaign culminated in a spirited and playful Training Day during which the topic was presented using video clips, discussions, and SMS voting and polling. The joint efforts of approximately one hundred staff members resulted in the completion of a larger-than-life board game to teach a thousand players through practical examples about responsible and sustainable entrepreneurship, its benefits and options for integrating it into one’s daily work.

The winners were honoured at the gala dinner for the Password marketing event at Saku Suurhall.

The Estonian Public Relations Association has been holding the Public Relations Awards competition since 2000. Every year, the best public relations projects and campaigns are identified in order to honour those who carried them out.
