UIA Increases Frequencies en Route Kiev - Vilnius - Kiev

OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2014, the IATA-2014 summer flight schedule came into operation; it will be effective through to October 25, 2014. Within the period of summer schedule Ukraine International Airlines offer passengers new travel opportunities en route Kiev - Vilnius - Kiev by increasing the number of UIA-coded non-stop scheduled flights from 7 up to 11 weekly flights.

As before, UIA flights connecting the capitals of Ukraine and Lithuania will be operated on modern Boeing 737 aircraft with two-class cabin layout. Additional inbound flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while additional outbound service will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

“Today, it is our priority to ensure sufficient supply on routes where there is an increased demand, - noted Anton Mattis, UIA Vice President Sales. - Thus, in the last year the number of transit passengers traveling from Vilnius via Kiev has increased dramatically. Therefore, complying with market laws, we increased frequency of UIA weekly flights connecting the capitals of Ukraine and Lithuania and, accordingly, provided our passengers with more travel opportunities. I believe UIA flight schedule will suit all categories of the carrier's clients. Tourists and business travelers alike will be able to choose the most convenient flight option - morning, daytime or evening service - and to get back home within 24 hours when necessary”.
