OREANDA-NEWS. Due to change to the daylight saving time in the night from March 29 to March 30 in EU countries and Ukraine, the Belarusian Railway jointly with the railway administrations of Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Ukraine has adjusted international train timetables in advance.

For example, the train No 115 Minsk-Warsaw, which departed from Minsk at 21:46 and arrived at Warszawa Centralna station at 5:40, will depart from March 30 from Minsk at 20:44 (arrival time will remain unchanged). The train No 116 Warsaw-Moscow, which departed from Warszawa Centralna at 21:06 and arrived at Minsk at 9:06, will depart due to change to the daylight saving time from Warszawa as before, but arrive at Minsk at 8:03.

Changes have also concerned international trains going to Ukraine and the Baltic countries. So, train No 86 Moscow-Kiev, which departed from the capital of Belarus at 21:35 and arrived at Kiev at 7:26, will arrive at Kiev at 8:36 from March 30 (departure time from Minsk will remain unchanged - 8:48).

The train No 15 Moscow-Vilnius, which departed from Minsk at 7:40 and arrived at final destination at 9:10, will arrive at Vilnius at 10:10 from March 30 (departure time from Minsk will remain unchanged).The train No 16 Vilnius-Minsk, which departed from Vilnius at 17:14 and arrived at the capital of Belarus at 20:44, will depart from Vilnius at 18:14 from March 30 (arrival time at Minsk remains unchanged).

Due to changes in the schedule of international trains, the schedules for regional and inter-regional trains, operating within Belarus, have been adjusted.

The passenger trains, that will depart from starting points on March 30, 2014 before the switch to daylight savings time and then be en route during the switch to daylight savings time, will terminate the end points down the line in concordance with timetable being in effects until the switch to daylight savings time.
