OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2014. Nordea Bank is in the Forbes magazine rating of 16 safest banks of Russia and for the second consecutive year has been placed 2nd among the most reliable credit institutions according to the Rating of Top-100 Russian banks 2014.

The Forbes rating of safe banks is based on their ratings with Fitch, S&P and Moody’s, their equity and assets, profitability and capital adequacy, as well as their credit risk profile.

The rating of 16 safest banks of Russia includes credit institutions with high ratings assigned by international agencies and proving stability of their financial and market positions. Nordea Bank enjoys one of the Russian market’s highest Fitch ratings.
