Polymetal International plc (LSE, MOEX: POLY; ADR: AUCOY) (together with its subsidiaries – “Polymetal”, the “Company”, or the “Group”) announces that Charles Balfour has informed the Board of the Company of his intention not to offer himself for re-election at the upcoming AGM of the Company, to be held on 21 May 2014, and to retire as a Director at the conclusion of the AGM in order to pursue other opportunities.

The Board thanks Mr Balfour for his significant contribution during his time with the Company since Polymetal’s IPO in 2011 and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The Board has started the search for a new independent non-executive director.
