OREANDA-NEWS. BEGISHEVO AIRPORT 100% owned by KAMAZ summed up the results of its activity for the first two months of 2014.
The company showed a steady growth by all indicators. Thus, the number of flights increased year-over-year from 500 to 580 (an increase is 16%), the number of passengers raised from 38,087 to 47,844 people (+25.6%). Such an important indicator as the volume of cargo transportation increased too – by 10.9% (from 59,761 to 66,251). And there were by 42% more international passengers than for the same period last year (3,206 and 4,576 respectively), and the number of domestic passengers grew by 21% (35,047 and 42,416, respectively).
The amount of the executed works and services was increased by 19.1% in monetary terms.
It should be noted that the air terminal building is now undergoing massive reconstruction aimed at improving the quality of passenger service.
